Written by Flavio Coradini

Overview

Simple DVM allows you to add your business's Tax Identification Number to your account. Once added, this number is automatically displayed on all invoices for a given Location.

Depending on your country, this field may appear with a region-specific name:

  • Canada β€” GST Number

  • Other regions β€” Tax Identification Number

Adding Your Tax Identification Number

  1. Navigate to Settings > Account

  2. Click the Manage button, then select Edit Account

  3. In the Edit Account dialog, locate the Tax Identification Number field (or GST Number if your locations are in Canada)

  4. Enter your tax number (e.g., 123456789 RT0001 for a Canadian GST Number)

  5. Click Save

Your tax number will now appear in the Account Information section of your account page.

How It Appears on Invoices

Once saved, your Tax Identification Number is automatically included in the header of every invoice PDF, directly below your clinic's contact information.

The label on the invoice adapts to match your location's country, so clients see the appropriate term for your region.
