To set up your account, navigate to https://app.simpledvm.com.

Then click "Create an account' at the bottom.

Start by choosing your account name - this is essentially your clinic name. This will be visible to internal users and clients. Best practice is to simply use the name of your clinic.

An account can have one or more locations. Think of a location as a geographical region where you can set unique prices, have unique inventory items, veterinarians, services, and more.

You can set up your locations however you prefer. If you are a solo veterinarian, you will only need to set up 1 location. If you have veterinarians in multiple cities, you will probably want a location for each city. In rare cases, you may want to set up more granular locations, in which case you can work with our team to figure out what is best for your practice.

Location Name - This is not client facing and is just used internally in the platform for easy navigation

Location Email Address - If you configure SimpleDVM to send emails, this will be the reply-to email address used for clients to respond to.

Location Phone Number - A phone number is optional and will only appear to clients if you provide one (can be added later). You can also set up texting and calling through SimpleDVM with a dedicated phone number, but this can be set up at a later time.

Timezone - The timezone is used to display appointment times within the platform and when printing dates and times on documents.

Subdomain - This will be the URL that clients see when logging into their accounts or booking recurring appointments. This will also be used if you create contact forms in SimpleDVM.

Address Information - You can decide whether this is displayed to clients. This address may be printed on documents and other client facing materials.

Create your first user - this user will be marked as the "Account Owner". Your phone number as a user will never be displayed to clients.

To complete your account setup, please add a payment method. Your card will be securely stored and you won't be charged during your free trial period. You can cancel anytime before your trial ends.

Your basic account details are now set up. You will be directed into your SimpleDVM "instance" where you can continue with a deeper setup.
