Invoice Templates
Invoice templates make it easier to populate invoices, especially combinations that you use consistently.
Access your invoice templates here
To get started - click "Add Template" and select the items you wish to add to your template.
Once saved, this will now be accessible on any invoice you create. After you apply the template, you can still edit the existing items, or add additional items to the invoice before saving.
Document Templates
To access your document templates, go here.
The most common use case for document templates is to create consent forms for your client.
To create the document template, click "Add Document Template" and fill in the fields.
Template Name - This is for internal use and will display to your users in SimpleDVM. Clients will also see this populate at the top of the form.
Details -
If you select "Client Info" this will appear on the form:
If you select "Patient Info" this will appear on the form:
If you select "Appointment Info" this will appear on the form:
If you select "Signature" it will prompt for a digital signature when the client views it.
After you create a document template, there are a few ways to use it:
1) Apply it to a service as a consent form.
To do this, go to your location settings, tab over to service, and click "consent forms" next to the service you wish to apply it to.
Once you apply it to that service, it will automatically be added to any online booking link for the client to sign as a part of that process.
2) Text the form to a client
Single click on the visit, then tab over to Documents.
Click "Sign Form Now":
Click the consent form you are referring to:
From this screen, you can click "get signature link" which will create a URL for this specific client/patient. You can text or email this link to the client to sign before hand.
If you are in person, you can also just click the "sign" button and the client can sign directly on your phone or iPad.
Email Templates
Email templates allow you to send emails from SimpleDVM to your clients and contacts.
There are two types of email templates:
Internal Templates (Recommended)
Create simply designed emails directly inside of SimpleDVM with no additional setup required. The reply-to address will be the email address you set up in your location settings.
Sendgrid Templates
If you want highly customizable design, we can set you up on sendgrid.com. Please contact our Help Center if you wish to explore this option.
