Set Up The App On Your Phone

Use this article to make sure that you have the app and push notifications are enabled.

Set Up Your Profile

Go to your profile settings.

Notifications Tab: make sure you enable all notifications you'd like to receive via email and push notification.

Integrations Tab: If you'd like - you can connect your google calendar so that SimpleDVM pushes appointment information to your google calendar. (Note - SimpleDVM does not receive any calendar information from google calendar to populate into SimpleDVM, this is a one way push)

Set Up Your Filters

If there are multiple veterinarians in your location, it may be helpful to set up filters so you can just view your own appointments.

To do this, click the triangle at the top of the "Schedule" view, and set up your filters.

The most popular filter would be to select "Provider' and filter on yourself.

These filters will remain until you hit "clear filters".

Viewing A Visit

To view visit/appointment details, simply click on a visit and a snapshot will appear:

Overview Section

From here, you can view client and patient details, click on an address to get directions, and view any appointment notes.

Documents Section

This is where consent forms will show up. If there is a document attached, that means the consent form has already been signed. If you need it signed still, you can tab over to "Documents", click "Sign Form Now", choose your document and have the client sign it directly on your phone.

Billing

This is where you can add/remove invoices, and charge clients.

Adding Notes

To add your SOAP note, click on the appointment and click "Add Note".

Select the "Type" of note.

Select the template you want to use. If you haven't set up your note template, you can do so here.

Make any edits you need, and click add note. This will create a medical record in our system.
