SMS Automations

We've recently launched a highly requested feature for automating SMS messages to clients, based on various actions around appointments, invoices, and vaccinations.

This is very similar to the existing Email Automation feature.

How it works:

  1. Create an SMS template with the content you'd like to be sent to the client.

    1. These can be created here: https://app.simpledvm.com/smsTemplates

  2. Select whether you'd like the SMS message to be appointment, invoice, or vaccination related.

  3. Populate the "Content" section with the information you'd like to be sent to the client.

  4. Go to the "Automations" page and hit "Add SMS Automation"

  5. Set up the automation with how you'd like the rules to send that SMS message to be sent.

Notes:

  • If a user has not seen the SMS Subscription / Compliance message, the first time they receive an automated message, they will first receive a text before any other messages:

    • [ACCOUNT_NAME] You have been subscribed to SMS messages. Reply STOP to unsubscribe. Msg & data rates may apply.

  • If a user replies "STOP" or is opt-ed out for any reason, they will not receive future automated messages.
